Anti-tech sentiment is on the rise as the world witnesses big tech become big villains, careless about the harms they cause and aligning behind authoritarian political agendas. But technology can and is being done differently.
Technology & Power is a discussion series hosted by Dr Jaya Klara Brekke, gathering technologists, thinkers and activists at the forefront of our new technological realities. Session 004 brought multi-disciplinary technologist Bhargav Srinivasa Desikan (CADA and Oxford Internet Institute) and philosopher M. Beatrice Fazi (Sussex University) for a discussion on technological empowerment, curiosity and re-enchantment, exploring the political possibilities of Artificial Intelligence.
This event was organised for Ibraaz, and in collaboration with CADA, a network of STEM and tech practitioners that has real-world impact.
